Weenect Dogs 2 GPS Tracker - Real-Time Tracking, No Distance Limit, Compact Size

So i have bought this because my rescue dog is awesome in the house and even outdoors with other dogs and in fields etc however when I'm running with him (off lead) or near woods, his prey and chasing squirrel drive is out of control and at the moment no amount of treat based training is stopping him. Whilst he always comes back (and fairly quickly) I have had a few scary moments where he has got so excited he has lost me, panicked and got lost for a little longer. So, I needed a device that i can both track him as well as try and train him with vibrate or bleep functionality. Whilst I haven't tried the latter yet, the tracker is brilliant, great size for a small dog and the ring and vibrate are much better than others i have tried so i look forward to training him with these additional signals (neither of which cause any harm whatsoever). The technology is super easy and quick to set up and i personally think the subscription cost is reasonable given the peace of mind I know have!

The media could not be loaded. I have a rather wayward rescue dog who finds almost anything more interesting than his owner. The tracker gives me peace of mind and allows him some off lead freedom when there are no roads, cattle, sheep or horses close by!! Recently the tracker stopped working completely just a few days before I was taking him to the seaside to stay with a friend and her two dogs. I have to thank Joe in Weenect customer services for his understanding, and who fast tracked a new tracker to me before the defunct one had been received by the company. 1st opinion it looks very big, & looks like a doorbell. We have a young Collie, and the device is big on his collar, so if you have a small dog I imagine the device would be too big. The website is very easy to use and understand. The user webpage where you can track and control the tracker is very simple to use and well laid out. Im sorry to say that is where all the good points of this device end. When the gps worked it was the perfect, software, tracking and device.... all giving me security knowing where my dog is at all times. Sadly the GPS part of the package just did not work most of the time. We tried it indoors, outdoors, in an open field, in a small wood, by a river.... everywhere - throughout Belfast. We have good signal with all the majpr providers in the area so that is not the problem. It seems that the GPS transmitter on the device is of poor build. So we did not have that peace of mind most of the time. The battery - the amount of time it had to be recharged is crazy - I understand it will drain the battery quickly if the GPS tracker is set to say every 30 seconds.... we tried it right up to once every 60 minutes and still the battery drained quickly. So if my dog got out of the garden during the day and I did not notice for a few hours then its fingers crossed theres enough battery in the tracker until I can get home and find him. You can tell that a lot of money has been spent on building the website, the software, unfortunately they need to spend more money on the actual device, and the protective sleeve. A picture of the tracker in its "Protective Case" shows that the case surrounds the device fully "looking at the images now it is the cats one that has a full cover -why not the dog one ?" This is a big design flaw as unfortunately whilst out for a walk it worked its way out of the sleeve-yes we did have it in correctly.... but an energetic dog running around tends to shake things about. And what do dogs like to do.... you got it CHEW. we ran over to get the tracker the from the dog -too late... within 5 seconds he had easily sunk several teeth in the device..... hes still a young puppy so they are not even full sized adult teeth. Fix the the tracking device.... there are better materials that are suitable for a dog device. Thicker grade plastic, chew proof plastic, plastic covered with chew proof rubber. I did contact Weenect about this but they would not help. So out £70 I DONT Recommend

This is a good accurate tracker that I purchased for my new Springer Spaniel puppy in Nov 2020. Young Springers have a habit of running off and we felt for peace of mind we would get a tracker in case the worst happened? Luckily the worst hasn't happened and we are having fun walking our dog off the lead in a local park. After just over a month the tracker stopped working, but after contacting Weenect and Working with Adriana at Weenect we found the problem and they fixed it very quickly. This is my second generation of weenect and what a vast improvement! Despite daily use and abuse the reliability has been perfect. The device is small and well sealed so it's hard to do anything wrong. I wouldn't rely on the speaker after a few months but the important thing is the precise tracking in any environment, including water, and we've not been let down when needed, mostly following our fish/dog around a lake when she decides to chase ducks for an hour! Cost (device + phone subscription) is very reasonable and in any case nowhere near what we would give to get our dog back if we couldn't find her! The company is responsive, communicates well and rapidly fixes network issues when they arise, remember this is a communication device with phone and GPS integrated, you need a good structure behind it!

Ich nutze zwei Weenect, für jeden Hund einen. Funktionieren perfekt. App ist einfach und verfügt über Karten- sowie Satellitendarstellung. Akku hält lange, ich habe die 30 Sekunden-Updates eingestellt. Zusätzlich gibt es eine Live-Tracking-Funktion. Bin vollumfänglich zufrieden. Meine Hunde laufen wo es geht immer frei, es ist für sie v klein auf normal dass wir zusammen bleiben, aber wir haben viel Wild, das wenn dann plötzlich auftaucht — die Tracker geben mir ein gutes Gefühl. Habe die Tracker anfangs testweise überall mitgenommen, ob zum Ausreiten oder mit in die Stadt, wurde nie enttäuscht. Hat besseren Empfang als mein Handy! Ich denke mehr kann man nicht erwarten. Auch gut zu wissen: Ideal für kleine Hunde, der Tracker ist leicht und klein. Kundenservice ist kompetent, schnell und persönlich. Ladegerät funktioniert super und schnell. Was mir gefällt: Man wird nicht zu doofen Extras genötigt, wie es die überladenen Apps der viel beworbenen Konkurrenz gerne tun. Fühle mich als Kunde ernst genommen.

Prodotto valido abbastanza, l'ho provato per un paio di giorni per fare delle prove, ti da tante informazioni utili e notifiche l'app. L'ho preso per il cane di mia mamma, una bassotta tremenda, ancora cucciola, vivo sempre con l'angoscia che si puo perdere.....e già capitato 2 volte....per qualche minuto per fortuna però non voglio più vivere quei momenti di paura. Spero veramente che non servirà mai usare il GPS però almeno sono tranquilla.....se capita. Ci ho messo un po di tempo per capire bene come funziona tutto e per fare tutte le impostazioni che interessavano a me, per il momento e tutto ok, l'unica cosa ....ma e normale per un GPS....non rileva quando e dentro casa.....però cmq vedi l'ultima posizione....quindi va bene. Bellissimo e divertente il fatto che puoi chiamare il tuo cane...anche se la voce che si sente nel microfono del GPS e un po strana e il cane non capisce cosa succede, però magari torna utile con un po di addestramento riesci a far capire che quello è il richiamo per tornare a casa. Avevo iniziato di scrivere questa recensione tempo fa ma adesso posso finirla perché ho i pro e i contra. Per chi interessa un valido GPS io lo consiglio 100%, compatto, piccolo, ha una bella custodia in silicone che lo infili nel collare, facile da usare, l'app funziona bene, vedi sempre anche lo stato della batteria, se il GPS e attivo o no,( non prende sempre dentro casa ma tanto serve fuori quindi, ci sta), puoi attivare il super live tracking per 5 minuti e ti rivela ogni 10 secondi la posizione in tempo reale, altrimenti il minimo e ogni 30 secondi. Puoi creare i tuoi recinti virtuali in più location e ricevi le notifiche ogni volta che il cane entra o esce da li, sia tramite SMS ma anche tramite l'app, dipende come fai le impostazioni. Adesso arriva il punto nero....la durata della batteria....Le prime volte che l'ho caricato....ho detto...va bene, sono le prime ma cmq....mai arrivato a 4 giorni di autonomia, 2 o massimo 3 ma qui ho sbagliato valutare perché il cane era quasi sempre dentro casa.....e questo vuol dire che il GPS era le più volte invalido che attivo. Il fatto che ha la batteria incorporata da una parte e ok perché e compatto ma sarebbe più utile poter avere batterie di riserva. Per esempio, mia mamma e venuta giù per le feste, con la mia amata cagnolina, ieri sono partite in pullman verso Romania (purtroppo non si trovano ancora compagnie aeree che ti permettono di portare il cane con te sui voli low-cost in Europa). Quindi....ci vogliono un sacco di ore di strada per arrivare nel centro-nord della Romania....perché ci sono le fermate, le coincidenze etc...quindi al minimo 20 ore di strada. Sono partite ieri pomeriggio verso le 15.30 da Mestre, Marghera, adesso sono le 10 di mattino ma loro non sono ancora arrivate a casa, forse ci vogliono ancora 3 ore di strada.....ma questa parentesi l'ho fatta per dirvi che io già da stanotte non vedo più il GPS perché e scarico, poi carico anche le foto così capite meglio. Conclusione: sono delusa, ho fatto una notte in bianco perché ero preoccupata, fatalità non riuscivo neanche sul cellulare contattare la mia mamma perché non aveva sempre copertura. Io posso capire che se e sempre accesso consuma di più o cambia cmq anche in base al segnale il consumo della batteria o forse anche il fatto che io controllavo spesso tramite l'app....ma di questo ho dubbio che possa influenzare, cmq.....se uno paga un abbonamento, almeno dovrebbe avere quei 3 giorni di speranza, per ritrovare il suo cane, se lo perde. Ma se già dopo 12 ore muore la batteria per qualsiasi motivo.....cmq....non va bene. Quindi 5 stelle per tutto ma 1 Stella per l'autonomia. P.S. io spero tanto che questo e solo un caso o un difetto di fabrica perche il GPS mi piace veramente un sacco e lo consiglio cmq.

Actualización 6 marzo23: He vuelto a comprar esta marca porque con tractive no me acababa de sentir segura, cuando no era la batería era la cobertura. El primer día de uso de Weenect regular no cogía bien la cobertura e iba como con retardo, les mandé un mail y me han reseteado la sim y ahora va perfecto. Tendré que probarlo más días y ver qué tal aguanta el agua, porque pone que se puede mojar pero creo que ese es su punto débil. Ubicación ahora muy precisa y batería mil veces mejor que la de su competencia. Servicio post venta en inglés pero están atentos y responden con rapidez. Con los de tractive igual, me contestan al mail enseguida. Primer Weenect que devolví: Creo que la precisión de la localización es buena, pero en 10 días ha dejado de funcionar. Me Devolvieron el dinero de la suscripción sin problema. Una pena porque parecía que bien pero no me puedo arriesgar a que deje de funcionar sin más. Voy a probar tractive.
