Brilliant device (if he doesn’t lose it) and so much smaller than the Tractive one I ordered but sent back as it was too large within 2days. Let’s me know when he leaves zones that I have set up and when he returns. All in all it keeps track of my cat as he likes a good wander in the woods near me. I charge it every 2 days and had no problem with connectivity.

Can turn on light on their tracker from your phone to see them In the dark and can also sound an alarm so u can hear where they are also . This Pawfit Lite tracker is an excellent small lightweight tracker for any Cat (unlike some of the cat trackers on the market that state are for cats but are more suitable for dogs). The tracker comes in a solid cardboard box with tamper proof seals. The box contains:-- - The pawfit device - A charging lead - A quick release cat collar - A strap to connect the device to the collar - A quick start guide Pros:- - The device is relatively lightweight - It is waterproof - The app easy easy to use - The device is easy to setup - The functionality is impressive and works as it should - Range and coverage is excellent - Flexible subscription plans - Battery lasted about 4 days during testing Cons:- - In order to make the device water resistant, it has magnetic contacts to charge it rather than a USB C socket. This is similar to most smart watches. This does mean you can’t just use any charging cable you have lying around - Although it is small and light, I think smaller cats would still find it a little cumbersome. - The need to recharge it every few days could be a bit of a pain. If you remove the tracker to charge it for 1.5 hours, you need to either let your cat go out untracked or keep it locked in the house. - Subscription required - My experience with quick release collars is that the cat often loses them whilst out. This is okay if its just the collar lost, but losing the tracker could be expensive. I guess it may be possible to find it as long as the battery has not run flat. When I attached it to my cat, he just pulled off the quick release collar in disgust. You may have more luck if your cat is more tolerant Overall, the device works well as a tracker, but your luck may vary with getting your cat to accept wearing it.

I was so eager to use this with my cat as I’ve often wondered where she goes. Initially I left it to fully charge before using it. Then attached it to the collar that’s included with the tracker. The case is waterproof and lightweight, although on my small cat it seems a little bulky. To begin with my cat really didn’t like wearing it so I’ve been putting it on her each day (extending the time she has it on) The manual is easy to follow and you track your pet in real time. There’s a small subscription fee and it becomes cheaper if you pay yearly - I think the tracker and the monthly charge are both good value as it gives you peace of mind should your cat ever go missing
